Im looking through the settings and trying to find out if there is a way to turn off most recently commented on thread on top? I would like the forum to be sorted by news post only and not have an old post with a new comment throw itself back to the top of the entire site.

I'm sorry, but that's not possible to do, as a new post in the topic and the reply under a post are both posts.
