Users cannot edit their profile, update avatar, background image etc.  Any suggestions welcome

Hi,

Please check the "Min number of posts to be able to edit profile information" option from Dashboard > wpForo > Settings > Spam Protection admin page.

Solved mu own issue - had to change the number of posts before editing profile setting in Spam Protection settings
