I have the craziest situation. My forum page will not cache.

  • I have cached wpforo
  • I have cached WordPress
  • I have cached my browser with a hard cache using the inspect tool
  • I called my host, and they cleared the server cache on their end.
  • Per advice from HostGator tech, I installed a plugin called WP-Optimize. I tried that.

I even went into CSS on wpforo (in styles) and deleted all of the CSS that I had in there. Updated and cached everything. On the front end, it still contains all the old CSS I already deleted. It is crazy! Can someone give me some guidance? Thank you very much and happy New Year, everyone. I am stuck until this issue is resolved. I appreciate any feedback

@danno6116,
If changes in CSS and content on your wpForo forum page are not reflected despite clearing browser, WordPress, wpForo, and server caches, it is important to note that wpForo itself does not have built-in caching that would cause such issues. The caching problem is likely related to external caching plugins or server-level caching mechanisms. To resolve this, you should:

  • Clear or temporarily disable any WordPress caching plugins you use.
  • Clear any server-side caches such as Varnish, CDN caches (Cloudflare, etc.), or hosting provider caches.
  • Ensure your browser cache is cleared or try accessing the site in a private/incognito window.
  • Check if any caching rules in .htaccess or server configuration might be affecting CSS or content delivery.

If after these steps the issue persists, consider reaching out to your hosting support to verify if there are any additional caching layers. Also, review wpForo and WordPress forums for specific caching plugin compatibility notes. For more details, you can visit the wpForo community discussions on caching: https://wpforo.com/community/faq/wpforo-and-cache-plugins/
