I started using wpForo a little while ago. I have set up the forum, users, everything, but now I’ve noticed something I'm not very happy about. The authors of articles on our website have somehow merged with the forum users.

I explain. Normally each article on our website shows the author's name, and clicking on it redirects you to an "About the Author" page, which profiles the author and lists their articles. However, now it redirects to the author's profile page on the forum. How can I revert this?

While I'm fine with merging the profiles so that our article authors can also contribute to the forum under their profiles, I need the links from the articles to direct to the actual 'About the Author' pages. Is there a setting for this, or do I need to manage the redirection manually?
