This log above is a debug output from Comet Cache lite, what clearly shows that wpForo clears the home page cache.
How it shows it? Please leave some screenshot to allow us check it. What wpForo function do that? We don't have any function which calls cache deleting action.
Not sure what you mean ? How it shows it ? I see the Cache time signature of my html source page in my home page.
Also i'm not sure i follow at all what you say. I hope you don't say that wpForo doesn't clear the home page, because i have posted the whole log above.
Some other plugins also do that, please read the quote above on "why".
Tonight i will switch to WP Super Cache to see if it behaves the same and update here.
I'll update this topic once we checked the Comet Cache plugin.
The very same happens with WP Super Cache, here is my log:
Home page cached:
<!-- Dynamic page generated in 1.880 seconds. -->
<!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2017-03-22 18:53:29 -->
<!-- super cache -->
---
Home page cached after a new wpForo post. Cleared. NOTHING else changed in the website.
<!-- Dynamic page generated in 1.632 seconds. -->
<!-- Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2017-03-22 19:17:22 -->
<!-- super cache -->
I think this is your plugins conflict or wrong settings. I have tested wpForo with Comet Cache and WP Fastest Cache and not observed any problems of these plugins combinations.

Nope, because i always do my tests in a dev subdomain i have in my hosting plan. In there i have a stock WP script and all plugins disabled (or enabled per case). I always test before moving something to a production site.
I have no idea how Fastest cache works with alll that, since i don't use it because it works ONLY with mod_rewrite method. I don't want that, i prefer php mode.
But i can tell you both Comet Cache and WP Super Cache clear the home page in every wpForo post. I have provided the full log from Comet Cache that clearly shows what happens. I wish i was a programmer and i could help more on this, but i'm not.
As i said, some plugins do that. And pls read my thread on WP.org's Comet Cache to see what i mean. The guys from Comet Cache (the only cache i really trust), explain in detail:
