It's MariaDB 10.3.8. This is equivalent to MySQL 5.7 and far exceeds The listed requirements. 5.0.12 is The version of The "mysqli" PHP library that WordPress and PhpMyAdmin both use to interface with MariaDB. This is The normal place of wpForo messages. All wpForo messages are appearing on The top right place. Nothing is wrong here. That's The wpForo design. As I said, it's a poorly considered design and would be The first thing I would try to "fix" with css and/or javascript if wpForo was otherwise functional. It should either have The "speaker indicator" pointing down and left at The forum (instead of up and right at The browser toolbar) or be moved entirely so it appears below/above whatever ui element triggered The notification. This is also not wpForo issue. This is your The link issue. Put it in your website simple posts content and check it. No. There's something wrong with your forum cause it's trying to load an html document in a lightbox as if it was an image. Dropbox links have always worked everywhere else... and that one in particular works just fine everywhere else I've tried it. Seriously I've already moved on to Asgeros, but I was willing to set up another instance and try to troubleshoot The settings-page issue with you. But I'm not going to waste my time if you're just going to engage in blatant denial instead of acknowledging The problems in front of you.

Due to limitation on disk space and bandwidth of The server that my wordpress and wpforo is hosting on, I'm wondering is it possible for any attachments, e.g. images and videos, to be uploaded to another server? Thank you for any advise.

I'll share resolution: Elementor was unable to identify The currently used page. I removed The unnecessary /index.php from The URL permalink structure, and everything is now working fine. The entire website is functioning correctly. P.S. You still need to remove /index.php from all custom manually written URLs. ====== in WordPress, The /index.php in The URL typically appears due to The way permalinks are configured. Here are a few reasons why it might be There: 1. Permalink Structure: If you see /index.php in your URLs, it might be because your permalink settings are not configured correctly. By default, WordPress uses a URL rewriting system that hides /index.php, but if this isn’t set up correctly, you might see it. 2. .htaccess File: WordPress uses an .htaccess file to handle URL rewriting. If this file is missing or incorrectly configured, /index.php might show up in your URLs. 3. server Configuration: Your server might not support URL rewriting or might not have The necessary modules enabled. For example, on Apache servers, The mod_rewrite module must be enabled for pretty permalinks to work. 4. Custom Permalinks: If you’re using a custom permalink structure or certain plugins, They might require /index.php to be part of The URL. Hopefully this will help. Thanks for The support GV team

RE: Where do you store user uploaded files/images? Server or External storage?

The data is stored on The server, not on external services. If a forum member upload HD images or big files, thats going to hurt The server. You can limit The uploaded file size using The "Maximum upload file size" option. It's located in The "Posting & Editor Settings" tab in each board settings section.

Hi @vanessa, I tried The hook on our forum and it does indeed prevent suggestions from being displayed, however The server is still "Working..." looking for Them. Does this happen on your forum? Hi @robert, Is There a way to avoid this server load at all? Thanks

Is There a way to stop The server from doing work as a user types The title to try and show The dialog that shows 'discussions that may have what you're looking for' that shows up as a user enters a title? I know I can hide it by setting .wpf-suggested-topics-list { display: none!important; } But I'd like to avoid The server doing any work at all to calculate this. We have a fairly busy forum, and want to streamline this.

Hi everyone. I am thinking about starting another forum. This will mean I am running 2 forums on The same server but on 2 different sites. My server has enough power for this but I am wondering if There would be any conflict with databases..... I suspect not, but thought I would ask any way to make sure. Also, I use a lot of add ons, is it possible to upgrade my subscription to those so They are "lifetime" and can be used on more than one site rather than just The one, or do I have to but a whole new subscription?
