I successfully moved from bbpress to wpforo recently. I have just a few problems:
- Quotes are no longer quoted - no conversion?
- Attachment no longer work in the posts - no conversion?

Also, is there a way to have the uploaded images show inline of the post? Not just a link you have to click?

I am going from BBPress to WPFORO - There is no 3rd party? However, a tool that specifically is meant to convert BBPress to WPFORO that does not work 100%, this is something that should be fixed.
Go2wpForo is designed for bbPress, not for bbPress plugins. If you used GD bbPress Attachments plugin for bbPress attachments you can follow to this topic:
