Is there a possibility that the checkbox can be set to ON by default.
Users forget to check the box and are missing information. So I would like to have it the other way around.

Hi Marten,

You need to enable the "Topic subscription option on post editor"

However, if you have any users from the EU, I don't recommend to enabled his option. as this is a fundamental breach of the GDPR regulation.
