Hello.

I would like to ask if you plan to include this feature or if a addon will cover that. I'm NOT talking about uploading an attachment. Just pure drag&drop in the TinyMCE editor.

OR can that be done with a addon for TinyMCE ?

This is already implemented in wpForo Advanced Attachments addon. Yuo can drag and drop images to TinyMCE. Also you can take a screenshot and paste it in TinyMCE editor. Here is the change-log of the addon 1.3.0 version:
