Hi,

I was prompted to update the plugin, which I did. The forum has now disappeared, and the plugin is no longer listed amongst my plugins, and it will not let me re-install as it says that the destination folder already exists (whatever that means?) When I do a search of my plugins, it tells me I do not have it.

Does anyone know what on earth is going on?

Thanks

Hi @darren90,

Please use some FTP client or Hosting cPanle > File Manager, open the /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Find the /wpforo/ folder and delete it. Then navigate in WordPress Dashboard > Plugins admin page, search and install wpForo plugin again.

Hi Robert,

I went to cpanel, File Manager, and there was no /wp-content/plugins/ directory.

I don't know what an FTP client is?

Thanks,

Darren.

Robert:

It's ok: I found it in the public html folder.

I followed your instructions and it has worked.

Thank you very much - I appreciate it.
