The forum menu bar on my forums is being displayed on two lines, with the menu options on one line and another menu bar with the search and notification icons. Can these not be combined into one menu bar? See attached image.

I also have a problem with the search background colour, which is white, and the foreground text is also very pale. I can change the foreground text (colour #15), but then this affects many other text colours which use a dark background. How can I change the background colour of the search field?

My forums can be found here: https://fsuipc.com/community/

Thanks in advance for any advice,

John

Hi,

The wpForo menu is a regular WordPress menu. You can configure it in the Dashboard > Appearance > Menu admin page.

For more information, please visit:  https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/getting-started/wpforo-menu/

Use the CSS code below:

#wpforo #wpforo-wrap .wpf-search input[type="text"].wpf-search-field:focus{
         background-color:  #9e9c9c;
}

Insert the CSS Code in the "Custom CSS Code" textarea in the wpForo > Settings > Colors & Styles admin page.

Change the red-marked value befor using it.

Please don't forget to delete all caches and press Ctrl+F5 (twice) on the frontend before checking to reload the updated CSS file.
