Uffff, I can see there is a new Wpforo version update available and Im terrified 🤣Â
In any case I will not install it until tomorrow morning as in a couple of hours I get scheduled a backup... just in case 🙂
However my question is?:Â
Under normal circumstances could this update override any of the extra work, changes and configurations I have set up and modified?

If you have not made a child theme and/or don't use snippets, then yes, edits you made to core files will be lost upon updating.
Your settings in the dashboard/control panel are not changed at all.Â
I generally wait 48 hours before updating in case there are updates to the updates.....

Yes I use a child theme. Im not sure really what Snippets are 🙂
