Good info is key for a start, also having a nice friendly approach to all visitors is very important. You have to get a good base of members built, and you can encourage those guys to join with regular competitions where they can win nice things.
The rest takes time, and patience, but built it and they will come 😉
Your site looks great, you just have to find a way to encourage people ot visit. Then when they get there, you have to give them something to stay for 🙂 I hope this helps This is just my insight, my forum is some what successful, but not as big as it will be one day i hope lol. But its a good size with a good community 🙂
