We needed to optimize somehow a bit the wpForo installations, because of tooo many http requests and several js and css loaded. We had around 130 requests in some cases.
We had BAD luck with Auto Optimize plugin. There were several small errors, no matter what we tried and excluded.
Some admin/friend suggested Fast Velocity Minify. Also he suggested what to exclude, as he works to a major Wordpress hosting US company.
So i did try it and it seems to work JUST FINE. Our forums are faster and i don't see any errors or problems (still your site could be different). And our http requests are now around 65-75.
What i excluded for CSS & JS:
wp-includes/css/editor.min.css
wp-admin/js/editor.min.js
wp-content/plugins/wpforo/wpf-assets/js
wp-includes/css/editor.min.css
wp-includes/js/tinymce
Fast Velocity Minify seems to have a VERY VERY sophisticated caching mechanism.
