Shortly after WPForo first launched, I posted a suggestion that was well-received, but deemed 'not a priority, "but we'll add this in out to-do for sure."
I think it got lost in the shuffle so I'm just posting a reminder - maybe other users will like the idea too.
What I was suggesting would be to have an option to create a new topic with each new WP blog post, as well as the option to embed that (or any) thread with reply form where WP comments normally go.
I had migrated from bbPress, and this functionality had been available through a plugin made by someone in the community. Currently I am achieving this by manually creating a topic for each blog post, which I then insert into the post with the shortcode.
It would save a lot of time to be able to automate that. I wonder if anyone else here would find it useful.
You can see how I do it here; it's just the shortcode at work, but my opening topic contains an excerpt and link back to the post, to provide context for the topic in the forum:

Perhaps an option to include the entire post, an excerpt, or just a link to the post would add to the functionality.
Thanks!
Hi Teratoma,
I think the wpForo - Blog Cross- Posting addon is what you're looking for. Please check it here:
