All what you can't translate using PO/MO you can translate in wpForo Phrases, if you don't find any phrase you can add new phrase.
As per sticky I see it exists in POT file, maybe there is a case sensitivity issue, we'll check it.
Necesito el archivo .xml hay alguna forma de poder traducir sin necesidad de cambiar el código?
You have tree options to translate:
1. Use .POT file, it's located in /wpforo/wpf-languages/ directory.
2. Navigate to Dashboard > Forums > Phrases and edit/translate all phrases
3. Use attached xml file, and import it in Dashboard > Forums > Settings admin page.
