I changed my password today for my admin account. I signed into the forums and my post tally was reset to 0.

Can I edit this manually somewhere to get my number to where it was?

Hi @marsm,

I'm sorry, but I don't follow you.

I've just discovered what's happened. My admin account was renamed as anonymous, so my admin account has zero posts. All my posts have also been renamed anonymous. I installed a new security plugin yesterday that has clearly done this. Every other user is unaffected.

Can I use phpmyadmin to reassign all the "new" anonymous posts to my admin account?

@marsm,

If that, posts are assigned to a User(Anonymous) you can delete that user and attribute his content to your new Admin account.

If those posts are not assigned to a User, we can give you an SQL to assign those posts to your Admin account.

There's no user in wpforo members called anonymous though. So I'd have to do this via phpmyadmin I guess, but my knowledge of how do to do this is close to zero.

I have found this:

(584, 1, 'User unban action error', 'User unban action error', 'wpforo'),
(585, 1, 'Anonymous', 'Anonymous', 'wpforo'),

Any help would be massively appreciated.

@marsm,

Please clarify where did you found this:

Posted by: @marsm

(584, 1, 'User unban action error', 'User unban action error', 'wpforo'),
(585, 1, 'Anonymous', 'Anonymous', 'wpforo'),

and also provide us Admin access to your forum, to attribute those post to your account,

Send Admin credentials to info[at]gvectors.com, mention this post in the email, and let us know here that you have sent the email.
