What it amounts to is that somebody who tried to register told me that there's a problem with registration. This may be a Wordpress problem, but naturally, the forum is useless if members can't register. Does anybody have recommendations for what registration plugin is most useful?
You should specify the problem exactly. Is there an error or something else?

When I was beta testing WPForo, nearly all my testers had issues registering, retrieving their passwords, logging in, etc.
Most of this was due to how Wordpress handles email - so I went with SendGrid + Postman SMTP (plugin) for those transactional emails and I started using the paid plugin Profile Builder for my registration forms.
Now, with over 100+ users, nobody says they have problems with registering/logging in/emails anymore.
It was a paid solution, but a solution that's been consistent and stable.
Does this solution still works for you or have you noticed any problems with latest update and your solution?
