@Robert

You mentioned that gVectors will stop supporting wpForo 1.x by the time version 2.1.0 is released.

Since wpForo is now on v 2.0.9 I imagine this will be relatively soon.

May I suggest that a new, separate forum is created on wpforo.com that is about support issues for users who are still on wpForo 1.x and have yet to migrate to wpForo 2.x?

The idea is that you make clear that this new forum is not manned/supported by wpforo.com staff, but other wpforo.com users are free to chip in and help each other out.

Let me know what you think?

Thanks,

fawp

Hi @fawp,

We have wpForo 1.x.x prefix for that, so users just need to use that prefix for their topics. Creating a new Forum, without taking care of it, will just make the forum unusable.

@chris but Robert said that you guys won't support wpForo 1.x as soon as version 2.1 is released.

Are you guys going to reply to every single wpForo 1.x.x prefixed request saying that it is no longer supported?

Those topics may not be supported by wpForo Support team, but that doesn't mean that other wpForo community users cannot support either.

@chris ok, fair enough, so we will help each other out if need be by prefixing the topic with wpForo 1.x.x.

Thanks

@fawp wpForo 1.9 has been released for so long time, all issues have been addressed or fixed.

So, many topics exist already. I doubt any new issues will arise. So do not worry.
