I don't have the add-on but the regular option to add attachments is now gone from all threaded layout forums. The add attachment is still there on regular (extended, simplified) forums.

I don't have any customized files. I only updated and changed my extended forums to threaded. If I switch back to extended, the ability to add attachments is available.

We found this bug and already fixed in upcoming version. Please wait for the next 1.6.2 version, it'll be released very soon. This bug only exists on the home page [Add topic] editor for threaded forum layout.
