Hello wpForo Team!

I installed wpForo 2.0 on a new webpage.

Everything is great & nice besides the problem that the User Profile Page is not changable neither for Users nor for me as Admin.

When I for example want to upload my own avatar and then click on "Apply Changes" nothing changes besides the cursor jumping to the next field (in this instance to Social Networks).

If I make a change in this field again nothing is stored and when I click "Apply" but the cursor is activating the next field.

Webpage: https://dopaminedeluxe.com/community/

I already:

  • deactivated all wordpress plugins
  • deleted all wpforo forum cache
  • deactivated wpforo spam detection

Could you help me - Thanks a lot!

Hi,

Your page is crashing, fix that and try again.

Thank you.

The responsible person for the wordpress theme (Lush) fixed this bug on my site that you found but the unfortunatly the problem persists.

https://dopaminedeluxe.com/community/

He was checking my site and sent me back to you:

"I can see the issue, but unfortunately, I don't see anything in our code (Lush Theme) that interferes with this wpForo form.

Could you please reach out to the wpForo team and ask them if they have any insight into what might be causing the issue?

The JavaScript error they mentioned earlier has been fixed, but the problem still persists."

Do you have an idea what could cause this behaviour?

Thanks and have a nice evening!

Ok, second suggestion: you seem to have the page optimized (compressed and who knows what else). Disable ANY optimizations, clear caches (your browser also) and try again.

If that also fails, then Enable Standard Debug of Wordpress to Debug.log and check in there for issues and errors.

Also when you try to do what you do in the profile, press F12 and watch your browser console for errors (js or others).
