New users get an error 500 page after they try to register. And they don't get an email with the password and login info after registering. But as admin i can see them in the WordPress backend / dashboard.
What can it be?

Who knows ?
Enable standard WP Debug to a log and check for fatal or other errors.
Registration and emails are handled by WP.
