I made a new forum with blue and grey areas as told. But doesn't show at all.
What am I doing wrong?
Followed all the steps mentioned in other threads nothing helped.
Could you pls help me out to resolve the issue ?

Please go to Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page and click the [Delete all caches] button.
@robert : I have cleared [Delete all caches] and checked it is the same. I am not using any cache plugin .. all my plugin are deactivated now...what are further steps to check ?

Please make sure you've added the define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', false); in the correct place.
Currently, it appears on each page and doesn't allow us to do any changes.
pls check now , i have added this line ('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true);
you should add the false instead of true.

The issue comes from your MySQL settings, but we are not sure the exact one. It has some conflict with the wpForo "Threaded Layout - Display Sub Forums with Parent Forums" option.
You should keep the option disabled, so it'll work fine. The option is located in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Forums admin page. Currently, we've disabled the option and it's working fine now.
