HI,

I have removed the top bar inside my options but my forum search icon field has disappeared ?

In my options it is set to ON. But if you disable the top/menu bar it disappears. 🙁

I don't want this top/menu bar as it conflicts with my theme.

I just need the search icon for the forum.

lease use wpForo Search widget instead of search icon. wpForo has Forum Search widget in Dashboard > Appearance >Widgets admin page, you can put it in wpForo Specific Sidebar. Please read the doc:
