I have a question regarding user roles and the members of WPForo:

The situation
I currently run a membership site that already has about a hundred members. Some of them are now going to be part of the new forum but not all of them. The current members were all automatically assigned to the user group "registered" by WPForo. But they shouldn't be part of the forum.

What I tried
What I did was remove all checkmarks from this user group to make them not able to open the forum. The specific users that should be able to open forum would go into another user group. I also took away the "Display on Members List" check mark.

The problem
But now I have a really weird situation. The members shouldn't be able to open the forum are not. So that's fine. Also the member list in the forum just shows the actual members. But when I look at the statistics at the bottom of the forum it shows me all WordPress accounts as the number of members and also people who are not part of the forum as "Newest member".

What could I do to fix this problem?
Is there a possibility actually exclude all nonmembers of the forum without deleting their WordPress accounts? Or is it at least possible to just show the actual numbers in statistics?

I would really appreciate an answer to this question  🙂

Thanks a lot!

I'm sorry but not. wpForo is a WordPress plugin and it doesn't have separate user system. All website users are the same forum users. That doesn't matter what access they have. The statistic counting functions doesn't check all users accesses.
