I've enabled avatars on the sidebar of recent topics.

On my site it doesn't look pretty (understatement) and it is so big...

looking at wpForo forum the avatars are much smaller and at size of 2 lines only.

Why is that? Is it related to theme I'm using (zerogravity), rtl issue? or wpForo issue?

This is conflict with theme avatar Style. It seems your theme has hard-coded avatar CSS for sidebar avatars. Please leave some URL, I'll check it...
