Can I disable the Error / Success Messages?

These seem to pop up and go away pretty quickly,  I the post about extending the time they are on screen, but I actually think it would be better just to not have them show up, I don't know that it's an advantage to the user.  Particularly the success messages, I'm afraid the pop-up will be a bad experience for some users who are unfamiliar with Forums and possibly scare them off not knowing what just "popped up" and disappeared.

I could possibly keep the Error message as I see value in that, but make it closeable by the user only rather than timed out...

However, I'd be happy to just get rid of them all together too if that's easiest?

The pop-up provides lots of information starting from user registration up to the errors. For example, after the registration, it says find the confirmation email in your email inbox to activate your account. So you should keep it running.
