Sure you can. As a forum admin, you can edit the topics and add the tags. Right now I'll edit this topic and add a new "tags" tag here.

I eamn edit the tags as in bulk edit? Some of them have not been capitalised and things like that, have i got to go to each thread to edit them???

yes, there is no way to edit all tags together.
