I have a paid members-only site hosted on wordpress.com using the business plan. Akismet is enabled and I don't believe it can be disabled.

I've just installed wpForo

I'm not worried about spam because I don't allow non-members to do anything.

Under forum tools > spam control I've set "Enable wpForo Spam Control:" to No

Every new topic or post by every user is awaiting moderation regardless of the contents and regardless of the number of times we've approved a user's previous topics and posts. We've been using lorem ipsum among other things for source material.

Is there _another_ setting I need to change or disable in wpForo in order to disable all moderation?

Is this being caused by akismet? If I can't disable akismet on a wordpress.com hosted site does that mean I can't disable moderation?

Thanks!

Resolved.

The problem was my forum > usergroup had "Front - Can pass moderation" _unchecked_
