Hello,

I have a bilingual site and WPForo works fine in the original language. When I translate with WPML, only one shortcode appears in the other language option. However, there is a separate panel for this language option and the page number is correct. What can I do?

Sample forum pages

TR - https://nakvaryum.com/akvaryum-forum/

EN - https://nakvaryum.com/en/aquarium-forum/

Thank you,

Hi,

There are two possible approaches:

1. Single content, multilingual interface
The forum content remains the same for all users, but the interface elements (buttons, menus, etc.) are translated based on the selected language. This is the setup your website is currently using.

2. Separate content per language
If you want to have different forums, topics, and posts for each language (e.g., separate forums for Turkish and English), you’ll need to create separate boards — one for each language.

@sofy Hello,

The first option is something I don't want. It will cause a big mess and the same topics will be discussed in many languages. Also, probably no one will find what they are looking for. That's why I prepared 2 separate boards. One is Turkish and the other is English. Maybe in the future, different languages. So each language will be a different forum with its own settings and its own topics. But I couldn't do that. As in the links in the examples, everything is correct in one language while there is only a shortcode in the other.

Thank you,

@sofy hello,

How I identified the source of the problem. I have rules for which plugins can be loaded on which pages to optimize site speed. However, these were only defined for one language. This meant that my plugin's code couldn't be loaded in the other language. I updated the rules, and everything seems to be working fine.

Thank you,
