Hi,

I want to disable the rich text editor completely. How can I do this?

Will that cause any unintended consequences I havent thought of ?

Thanks guys.

@jacobbiere,

I'm sorry, but there is no option to do this.

Is there absolutely any way to edit the code on the back end. This could be a dealbreaker for me but i really want to keep using wpforo

@jacobbiere,

What exactly you want to add to the editor. Is this not enough?

@robert I dont want to add anything. I dont want all those options to change fonts, center text, bold, italic’s. Etc

Just the text only.

@jacobbiere,

Ok, I'm sorry, but it's only possible for replies, it's not possible for topic editor. And it's only possible for the Threaded and Q&A layout replies/comments. Please read the documentation: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/settings/posting-editor-settings/#q-a-layout-%E2%80%93-comment-form-type
