Looking at the usergroups and how they are synced with Wordpress roles, it looks like to give a user Moderator privileges for a forum or topic they would also become an Editor, able to modify other Wordpress content like posts and pages.

Is it possible to assign a subscriber role user to the moderator usergroup so they have special privileges in just the WPForo forums?

Hi,

Please read this documentation: https://wpforo.com/docs/wpforo-v2/settings/login-registration/#role-usergroup-synchronization

Thanks for the reply. I did read that page before posting the question. Re-reading it and looking at Admin > wpForo > Usergroups it looks like since wordpress user roles are synced to usergroups but assigned wpForo Usergroups are not synced back to User Roles then I can simply assign a forum member to the moderator usergroup in

Admin > wpForo > Members

Without affecting their overall WordPress privileges.

Is that correct?
