Hi there, appreciate help please.

1) Why are 2 emails being sent like the ones in the attached image?

I am testing the sign up feature to WPForo and upon signing up Once, I get 2 emails asking to do the same.  They're not 100% duplicate, but they ask to do the same thing. They're from WordPress

2) How can I change the sender from "Wordpress" to show as my website's name? I've been searching all over and can't find it...

Thank you so much

Kind regards,

Hi,

Both (1) and (2) are handled by Wordpress, wpForo provides just a "form" for it.

As for your (2), use a plugin for it or just some code. It was provided here at some point, but i can't find it.

Hi @ennui123,

Yes, Anonymous20 is right.

User registration is being processed through the default WordPress registration system.

And the user registration is a WordPress core function, it doesn't matter the registration form is provided wpForo or other plugins. WordPress is designed to send emails with WordPress name. There are hundreds of articles and support topics about this WordPress issue. I'd suggest you try the solution provided by Robert here:
