Is it possible for an administrator to edit a topic which is already published? For example, I want to change an author or the content of a theme.
With the WordPress plugin "Discussion Board" (which we are actually running, but want to exchange by "wpForo"!) you can easily edit a topic (see attached picture) and change everything.

Admins can edit the topics after those are published, but if you want to change the author of the topic you would need to make changes in the DB.
Thanks a lot for your answer. I've seen the plan on your link. Perhaps you might consider the solution within "discussion board" - there you find a link to edit the database.

see above: I want to edit a topic to change content and (!) author. You can see this at the WordPresss Plugin "Discussion Forum", which we actually use. But we want to change to wpForo due to some heavy (other) problems with Discussion Forum.
