I did a fresh install of wpForo on a test site using KLEO theme and added buddypress.

I only have the 2 plugins active.

when i try to save a file from the child theme (functions.php), i encounter this error:

Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

When i deactivate wpForo, the error goes away. I can now save the file.

This also happens when i use the wordpress default themes.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Hi  Alvin Patrimonio,

Unable to communicate back with site to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was reverted. You will need to upload your PHP file change by some other means, such as by using SFTP.

Please note, this has no relation with wpForo. This only means that you should do some changes using SFTP, not Wordpress editor, as you can be faced a problem when you use the Wordpress editor.

When wpForo is deactivated, i can save from the admin panel. When it is active, I cannot.

And yet it has no connection with the plugin.

Thanks for the help!
