For our wp-forum/wordpress site we need to figure out a way to do specific event sign ups.
We run a club where users can sign up for a charity event and wear one of the costumes they own to entertain the public. Ideally they would have a forum profile the costumes listed/added by admin (not themselves) and then when they signed up to the event they would choose their name and then the costume they would be wearing.
An extra nice to have would be that each member could get a list of the events they have attended.
I feel this should be achievable, but I am missing how to do it.

I'm sorry, but I don't follow you. Could you please clarify a bit?
We run events that forum members can sign up for. This way we can limit the number of attendees and they can choose when they sign up, what costume they will be wearing on the day and it will log their name. Both name and costume can be pulled from their profile. Wordpress or otherwise hopefully
