Flush permalinks after editing topic slugs?

Hi Support team,

After manually editing topic slugs in the wp_wpforo_topics table using the phpMyAdmin plugin, should I clear the cache, perform a cleanup, or flush permalinks (soft or hard)?

I made changes to the slug but the forum still looks for the old link.
