As admin for my site, I have a curious "Forbidden" error (screenshot attached) when attempting to edit/update a particular existing post (link below), and so far it ONLY occurs with this individual post.
- If I go to edit the problem post, but don't actually make any changes, it saves and shows as "updated."
- If I copy the text and paste it into a "new" topic post, I receive the "Forbidden" error then as well.
- If I login as a "user" and then copy/paste the text into a new topic, I still get the "Forbidden" error.
- The "user" account is able to post topics, replies, and reply to the problem post.
However:
- As admin, I am able to post and edit new topics.
- As admin, I am able to post and edit replies to the problem post as well as others.
For troubleshooting I have done the following:
- Disabled ALL plugins, except wpforo
- FTP'd the account to ensure proper permissions for folders and files of the site.
- Reset the .htaccess file
- Cleared cache of the site as well as the browser
- I looked through wpForo's security settings, but didn't notice anything that would cause this error.
It seems as though there is something within the "text" that is causing this error, but I don't know what it could be. What other actions would you recommend that I attempt to correct this issue?
