Hi, the WordPress dashboard shows:

wpForo Database Update Problem - Action Required!

When clicking on "Go to database troubleshooter", logged in as the standard WordPress admin, I am not allowed to access this page.

I disabled Malcare to see if it was caused by this security plugin, but same message appeared after testing.

Please would you assist? Also, our forum appears to be empty, when it has been active for many years with many posts. Might this have to do with the update problem?

I have Version 2.3.4 installed.

Thanks

I have already read a reply to this: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/wpforo-database-update-problem-action-required/

However the issue did not get resolved and I have forwarded the sql command to my hosting company. Could there be any other issue?

Based on the error, I see that some parts of database are missing.

Please click the "Solve database problems" button, wait for the button to finish, and check again.

Hi, I had already done that before posting here. It did not resolve the problem.

Running the Problem fixer SQL commands did not resolve the problem either.

Do you know what caused parts of the database to be missing, and how can this be resolved?

Thank you.

@janjan

Please make sure the user you’re checking has an administrator user role in WordPress as well.

Additionally, if it's a multisite installation, you should ensure the user is a super admin, not just an admin of one of the websites.

Yes, the user has administrator role. I even created a new administrator to test but it does not work. It is not a multisite installation either.

If you need to access my site (I have also created an identical copy of the original site so you could test there) to troubleshoot, please let me know.

The other issue is that the wpadmin login page defaults to the wpforo login page, not sure what to do about this, I would appreciate your support with this too.

Thanks
