Okay, and I add yet once more in case this helps you to help...
I went to the page where the shortcode is, deleted it, publish and as expected the forum was gone completely which should means that there is not another instance of said shortcode elsewhere
I then went back, paste again the shortcode to forum page, publish it, and there it was back again, but then again, still duplicated

And once more. I think I found the problem... I know what Im just about to say makes not much logic but I think I remember being only 4 in there...
I rather wait for anyone really knwing what its talking about before proceding further just in case.
In "designs", somehow I have 5 designs instead of 4 and one its clearly reapeated. Yesterday it was only 4 in there... any ideas?

NO!, I switched, cleared cache, check it, problem remains, went back to check the "foros pre-layouts" and the same as in the last screanshot I provide, still 5 designs shows up with one being duplicated. YET, if I go to "foros" I get only presented with 4 designs to choose from as it should be
What else can I do? I dont want to start adding any forums until this is sorted just in case I have to lost work....

Just in case this tells something to you:
I made a test and duplicate in purpose the shortcode [wpforo] and DO double up again the forum, not just add a normal forum to the previous double one
QUESTIONS:
1 - If I uninstall and install the foro back I will loose all I done already, correct?
*Knowing this I could may be carrying work on it in order "advance work" else days are passing by and Im totally stuck
2 - If I deactivated the forum..... (same question as above)
And something else, just trying to add facts to you in order to help...

I add a new category and subforo (not sure if Im giving the right names to you)...
I leave the slug empty for the foro to autogenerate the slug... then publish
ONCE AGAIN DUPLICATED, yet so
If I check after I plubish it shows the slug:
slug-title-page
If I publish it again after I make any edit (or without edits) the very same foro now shows the slug:
slug-title-page-2-2
