This used to work but how has now stopped. When you get an email notification about a new post, it takes me to the first page. How can I set it to jump to last page?

Hi @marsm,

It should send you to the new post, it doesn't matter the new post is on the first page or on the last. I mean there might be many new posts and the first new post is still on the first page.

If this is not the case then you should make sure the "Topic Links - Jump to First Unread Post" option is enabled in wpForo > Settings > Action Logging & Views admin page.

@robert this is enabled. From within the forums it works perfectly. When you hit the link from an email notification it takes users to the first page. Any other advice?

Thank you @marsm,

Please leave a screenshot of the wpForo > Settings > Action Logging & Views admin page settings.

Also, please let me know whether you have code snippets related to wpForo in the functions.php file of your theme or in a Code Snippets adding plugin.

@Robert, please see attached screenshot.

Pertaining to snippets, I have never added anything to functions.php (beyond my skills) and I only installed snippets today to remove the font sizing in the editor.

I've had this issue a year ago, and found your reply from over a year ago. For some reason, this was reset when we moved servers.

I applied the below and it's working as it should now.

Try to change [topic_url] and [topic_link] email shortcodes to [post_link]. The email templates can be found in wpForo > Settings > Subscriptions & Mentioning tab
