On my site, Google reCAPTCHA has not installed, except for the wpForo. On the forum, I installed Google reCAPTCHA, here is a screenshot - http://joxi.ru/krDLlEPSEP3anr
When I go out of the admin area and want to go back, I get it - http://joxi.ru/1A55xnqhnqZdLA Why is this happening?
I have to go to the FTP and delete the plug-in wpForo, then I go to the site without problems.
I install the plug-in wpForo wizard again and so on every time ...
How to fix it?
Ok, Please keep enabled wpForo reCAPTCHA for WordPress forms (login, register, etc...) and all should work fine. This issue will be fixed in next version. We're already aware about this.
Also make sure you don't have other reCAPTCHA plugins activated. If so, please deactivate those.
@Robert, please, please remove reCaptcha from wpForo.
It is a pain in the a..s!
I'm long time member and user and this is the worst feature ever introduced.
I can not force my users to log-in with gmail account, bla, bla, bla.
All they want is name and password,
If I want captcha, I'll add a stand alone add-on.
Your implementation is buggy.
Please remove it until a permanent fix.
Thank you.
Hi yossik,
You have all options to disable reCAPTCHA whenever you want in Forums > Tools admin page. Make sure it's disabled for all forms.
The only bug is related to non-complete enabling/disabling of forms. Keep those enabled/disabled for all forms, not only for wpForo forms and all will work fine. This issue is fixed in next version.
Also, if somehow the reCAPTCHA asks more questions to verify you, it's your issue not the forum. reCAPTCHA sometime is very suspicious to some users. It depends on dozens of user specific factors, and it doesn't have any relation to wpForo.
So, please never ask to remove any feature with disabling option, just disable if you want. Also please, don't ask to remove a feature which works fine on many websites.
