Any news on the addon originally due for release in April? I know things get pushed back but very keen to get this one due to my forum being used with a very international set of members.

I'm sorry but this addon was removed from our to-do list. It becomes hard to use Google API in 3rd party solutions. There is no any free plan in this case. https://cloud.google.com/translate/pricing

Only Yandex allows to use the translation API for free. but most of people don't want to use Yandex for this purpose.

Hello. I think the pricing of Google Translate was updated. Now, you can translate up to 500,000 characters per month for free. $1 per 50,000 characters is acceptable when exceeding the limit because visitors don't translate every single post.

> For example, if you send 575,000 characters for processing within a month, you are charged $1.50. The first 500,000 characters are free, and then you are charged for the additional 75,000 characters sent for detection, translation, or both.

However, I have to admit Yandex Translation is very affordable compared to Google Translate. (I don't see any free plan now.)

Is there any chance for you to put it on your todo list again?

I use wpDiscuz Comment Translation, and it works very well on my multi-language site. I love it automatically detects the original language and translates into the selected language. I also like the addon saves the result so it can avoid using Google API for the same translation.

It would be very nice if I could add the same feature to the wpForo forum.

Thank you for your support.
