So I want it so the guests can post and not have any registration or anything.

I've altered guest permissions to standard in all categories and forums but when I click the Add Topic as a guest nothing happens.

please disable back all CANs you've enabled for guests. To enable Guest Posting please follow to this instruction: https://wpforo.com/community/how-to-and-troubleshooting-2/how-to-let-guests-post/#post-14163
