Hello. I need to help again.
I noticed one particular thing.
In my forum - https://bozpforum.cz does not work highlighting unread topics.
I have disabled all cache plugins. I turned off autooptimize. Deleted all cache. I tested on another PC. I registered a new user. It does not work.
Can this be activated in settings (I have not found) or is it a mistake? You do not know what a mistake it could make.

Hi @vit-hofman . Are you referring to the "Unread Posts" ? This is actually a "link", like for example here at wpForo,
The "Unread Posts" at the top right goes to
https://wpforo.com/community/recent/ ?view=unread
Notice the ?view=unread?
That would look different for different users, because it is dependent on the forum cookies set on a user's device or browser, when they log in.
I visited your site and took a screenshot. (will attach here). Which shows the Unread Posts are showing as "Bold" or "Highlighted = Bold" . It's appearing bold in my device (PC) because I haven't visited your Forum before and have not accepted your website cookies. It shows different for those who have "accepted" website cookies. A Registered User would accept website cookies. So it will show differently too. (like your screenshot) 🙂
To test this, go to your browser, select internet options and delete all cookies and delete all browsing history. Then visit your site again, and you'll see.

Nono, it still does not work. The list of the last topics is ok, bold. but the bold highlighting is missing from the main list on the homepage.

"For logged in users this will be tracked on all devices, once you login you'll see almost the same read/unread status of all forums and topics. Registered users are being tracked based on database data. So if you change device or browser it doesn't affect. You just need to login.
For guests (not logged-in users) it's only being tracked for current browser and based on cookies."
So my understanding is, it will show up "as read" (thin-font) in our individual forums, because as "Admins" logging in and out of our forums, there WILL be stored cookies in OUR devices, when we log in as ourselves.

- I'm on a computer where I show my wpForo for the first time.
- Unlogged user.
- Anonymous window.
- All cache deleted.
- Cache plugins off.
- Browser Cookie deleted.
On the homepage, everything is shown in thin text as read - Picture 1 - it's wrong.
If I move on to recent topics, everything is fine here and shown in bold font as unread - Picture 2.
On wpforo.com everything works ok, see Picture 3.
It does not relate to cookies. I have tried a completely different PC. Where I have never been logged into my Google Account and where my wpforo has never been loaded.
If you see unread topics in the homepage, please screen.

If I switch to extended layout, then everything is fine and unread posts are bold. See attached picture.
So I assume there will be a bug in the threaded layout.
The question is, is there an error on my site or directly in the plugin?
