I want to move posts from one category to another without moving the post from the category it was first created.
Why i really need this is because i set a particular category to be my "front page" where i move interesting posts to this "front page" category. I want to only duplicate to post to the "front page" category without moving the entire post.

I'm sorry, but there is no way to do this. Here are the tools available for topics, there is no "duplicate topic" feature:

That because you don't have any replies in your topic. These two options is only available for topics with replies. If you don't have any replies, they what are you going to split or move?
Work on what? There is no any bug there. Just leave a reply, and you'll see all four options.
