I want to know how to disable the title function or hiding it.

Use options per Usergroup in Dashboard > Forums > Settings > Members admin page:

Also delete all caches and user cache in Dashboard > Forums > Dashboard admin page. If it doesn't help then I have no other clue. You should use some CSS or custom code to hide it.
