@verena-bimmingergmail-com I don't believe there's such a feature to send a notification to all participants on the topic to let them know the topic has been closed, no. 

But what you can do is post one last message on that thread letting the participants know that you are closing down that topic for reasons so and so. Anyone who has subscribed to it will receive a notification with your last message on the topic.
