You need to press the lock button on the first post of the topic, it is next to the sticky button.
@chris When the topic is closed, is it possible to put a notification to all participants?
I don't follow you, what do you mean saying put notification?
@verena-bimmingergmail-com I don't believe there's such a feature to send a notification to all participants on the topic to let them know the topic has been closed, no.
But what you can do is post one last message on that thread letting the participants know that you are closing down that topic for reasons so and so. Anyone who has subscribed to it will receive a notification with your last message on the topic.
