Hello,

I use SEO by10Web plugin to manage my metatags, but it doesn't work for WPForo, it just overwrites with generic title and description WPForo topics'  metatags, that by themselves would be already perfect.

DO you know of a way to disable the plugin just for WPForo? (I still need to use it for my regular posts and pages).
I am not a developer, but hopefully there is a way to achieve that using the functions.php file?

I have already asked to 10Web of course, but their support is generally not very responsive.

Thanks!

Hi @nican,

I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with the plugin settings.

On the plugin page, I've found the "Is it possible to exclude pages from sitemap?" FAQ, please check it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/seo-by-10web/#is%20it%20possible%20to%20exclude%20pages%20from%20sitemap%3F

@sofy It's not that. But I was able to disable it using another plugin which does just that.

I issue I noticed though is that WPForo does not set a default og:image tag in the topics metadata (or I can't find the setting for it).

I think this option is important, especially when sharing a topic which has no image embedded in it.

Thank you

Just dump that SEO plugin and use something REALLY good that works with wpForo and doesn't create problems.

@anonymous20 my problem is I would have to manually edit a lot of metadata that I currently manage with that plugin, thanks for the suggestion tough, will look into it!
