What it will not do: It will not automatically post a new topic in WPForo for any feed. I don't think that is possible with any rss aggregator plugin.
What it can do: If you make a sticky topic containing the feed short code it will update that topic automatically with new feed content. This works okay but of course it will rely on user habit to regularly check that particular topic. In the end I decided to make a standard WP page that contains all the syndicated feeds I need and made a simple anchor link menu on page for navigation.
